Why Charlevoix Homeowners Hire Us
You can tell a lot about a painting company by how they answer the phone, how they walk a house, and whether they actually do what they said they'd do. We've been building that kind of reputation in Charlevoix for over a decade as a company — and over three decades as a painter.
All In One Paint And Stain is a family-owned Charlevoix painting company founded by Tony Warchol. If you're here trying to figure out whether we're the right fit for your home, this page is for you.
How a Charlevoix Painter Became a Charlevoix Painting Company
Tony started painting in 1993. Not as a side hustle. Not as a summer job. As a career — the one he still works today, more than thirty years in.
Somewhere along the way, it became clear that the painting companies he kept ending up on crews for were cutting corners he wouldn't cut. Rushed prep. Cheaper products than what was quoted. Crews that treated finished spaces like construction zones. So he did what plenty of tradespeople do when they hit that wall — he started his own company.
All In One Paint And Stain was legally founded in 2014 with a pretty simple mission: keep Charlevoix homes beautiful, inside and out. Not flashy. Not franchised. Just painters who care, doing work they'd be proud to put their own name on.
A decade later, that's still the brief.
What We Care About
About Tony Warchol
Tony Warchol has been painting since 1993 — over thirty years of hands-on experience across new construction, renovations, historic homes, and the lakefront cottages that define Northern Michigan. He's seen what lasts and what doesn't. He knows which products handle Lake Charlevoix humidity, which stains hold their color through a full UV season, and when a deck needs strip-and-sand versus clean-and-recoat.
Three decades in, Tony still walks estimates himself on most projects. That's on purpose. The person looking at your home should be the person who understands how to price it, plan it, and stand behind it.
He built All In One Paint And Stain to stay small enough to care about every job. If you hire us, you're not getting a salesperson and a subcontracted crew — you're getting a painter-owned company where the owner has spent more time on a scaffold than behind a desk.
What Happens When You Call Us
The hiring process shouldn't feel like negotiating with a car dealership. Here's what actually happens when you reach out:
-
You call or send a note
Tell us what you're thinking. A room, a house, cabinets, a deck — whatever it is. As much or as little detail as you have at this point.
-
We walk the space
In person for most jobs. We measure, ask questions, and take notes on anything that affects scope — old wallpaper under paint, moisture damage, trim repairs, access.
-
You get a written estimate
Clear, line-itemed, no mystery math. We explain what's included, what the product options look like, and what the timeline is.
-
You decide on your timeline, not ours
There's no pressure to book on the spot. Sit with it. Ask follow-up questions. Compare it with other estimates if you want.
-
We do the work
Prep, paint, clean up, walk it with you, punch list, final approval. You pay the balance once you're happy — not before.
Products We Work With
We work with top trusted and premium lines when a project calls for them. Product selection is part of the estimate conversation — you'll know exactly what's going on your walls before we open a single can.
